Lore

They call the island Sakhal, but the name doesn't matter anymore. The map's been buried under snow and time. The only thing that still moves here is the wind — and it cuts like glass.

They say there used to be life here once. Villages, outposts, even research stations. But the world changed. The skies dimmed. The cold came faster than anyone could adapt. Now, all that's left are bones in frozen soil and the ghosts of those who thought they could outlast the frost.

Supplies are rare, warmth rarer. The storms come without warning, swallowing sound and sight alike. Out there, among the ruins and wreckage, survivors fight for scraps, for shelter, for the high ground. Because on Sakhal, even a hill can mean the difference between life and death.

There are no heroes here. No alliances that last longer than a match's flame.

About the Event

Ashfall is our most brutal King of the Hill event yet. You'll drop into the frozen wasteland of Sakhal — a custom, lore-driven map where survival isn't guaranteed, it's earned. Form a team (max 4 players) or go solo. The objective is simple: take the hill, hold it, and survive the cold long enough to call it yours.

Objective

Your mission is simple — survive the cold and claim the hill.

Link up with your team (or go solo)
Gear up from supply drops scattered across Sakhal
Push toward the Frozen Geothermal Basin
Take the base and hold it against all challengers
You can respawn as many times as you want, but you'll have to cross the mountain range to get back to the action.

Points are awarded every 20 minutes based on how many teammates are inside the base wall perimeter during scoring intervals. The team with the most points when the storm settles wins Ashfall.

Strategy & Gear

Rush straight to the base and try to hold it early — or gear up first at supply caches for better weapons, armor, and explosives.

Rules

Be On Time

Join your team's Discord channel at least 10 minutes before the event begins. The server password will be posted in #Ashfall-Important-Announcement when it's time to drop in.

No Cheating, Exploiting, or Combat Logging

This includes ESP, aimbots, glitching, duping, or any other unfair advantage. Play fair — skill and strategy win here, not scripts and exploits.

Team Name Format

Make sure your in-game name includes your team number so scoring works correctly.
Example: Team 5 – SpectreRobin

If your name isn't formatted properly, your team may not earn points or could face penalties.

No Meta or Stream Sniping

Watching another player's stream, relaying information, or acting on intel from outside the game will result in an immediate ban. No warnings.

Voice & Streamer Etiquette

The base PA system projects sound across the area. Use it wisely:

No music or copyrighted audio (can trigger DMCA strikes).
In-character banter and taunting are encouraged — keep it entertaining.
No hate speech, discrimination, or harassment of any kind.

Discord & Voice Chat

All players must be in the event Discord. Once you've met up with your teammates in-game, switch to in-game voice chat for all communication — this keeps the shoutcasters' broadcast authentic and immersive.
