Before you settle into RedPine, make sure you’re familiar with the official rules. They cover combat, base building, raid times, and everything else that keeps the world balanced and fair.

Quality of Life (that respects vanilla)
- Earplugs – Boats and vehicles won’t wreck your ears; coast runs and road trips are finally enjoyable.
- Zen’s Notes – Leave messages, clues, and “I was here” scribbles—great for roleplay and regrouping.
- DogTags – Identify the fallen and add story to the bodies you find.
- 6-digit CodeLocks – Safer, faster gates. Less fiddling in the open, more surviving.
Survivor Dogtags: Your Life, Your Story
Every life tells a story—and now your Dogtag shows it. Survive longer, and your tag evolves:
- 0–12 hours → Silver
- 12–36 hours → Granite
- 36–64 hours → Cobalt
- 64h+ → ??? (rare and respected)
Each tag is a record of survival. Find one on a body, and you’ll know how long its owner fought to live.
A Busier, More Lived-In Chernarus
- Dynamic AI patrols add movement and tension to key routes and hotspots.
- Permanent Gas Zones conceal military camps—high risk, high reward. Bring filters.
- Hidden clusters of new buildings tucked across the map—unmarked, discoverable, memorable.
Organic Roleplay
Organic roleplay means letting the world shape the story. No scripts, no forced characters—just players making choices that matter. Team up, trade, betray, or fight. Every encounter can become its own story instead of another kill-on-sight moment. Sometimes a quiet conversation is as tense and meaningful as a firefight—that’s the spirit of organic RP.
Dynamic Heli Crashes
Crashes don’t just drop loot—they bring their crews with them. Expect AI factions that match the helicopter type:
- Eastern helicopters → Eastern AI squads
- Western helicopters → Western AI squads
These AI fight like players—coordinating, flanking, and making heli runs unpredictable. They’re not superhuman, but they’re dangerous.
Encounters That Evolve
- Heli crashes & convoys → Hostile military AI
- Police scenes → Police AI on patrol
- Survivor AI → Unarmed scavengers on the coast, armed and dangerous inland
Spawn points shift dynamically, so AI never feel predictable. Survivor AI evolve their gear as they roam, making every encounter different.
Dynamic Bandit Camps
Nearly 30 bandit camps are scattered deep within the forests of Chernarus. Picture this: you’re sprinting through the trees at night when you spot the flicker of a campfire ahead. A few mattresses dragged from a ruined house lie beside it—signs that someone’s been living rough. That might be the last thing you see.
These Bandit Camps are dynamic world events, similar to heli crashes and convoys. The bandits don’t stay put for long—they pack up and move on, setting up new ambush points across the map. Each camp offers danger and reward: defeat the bandits, and you’ll find hunting and survival gear worth the risk.
Loot Philosophy
- Military & NBC AI → No loot drops
- Bandits, Police & Survivor AI → Lootable (they progress as they survive)
Encounters feed the survival loop. What you find tells the story of who they were and how they died.
The Endgame Loop
RedPine’s late-game content rewards preparation and teamwork:
- Tier 4 heli crashes & military zones can drop color-coded keys.
- Keys unlock Dynamic Shipping Containers inside Permanent Gas Zones, guarded by NBC patrols.
- Top-tier loot: rarer loot and even non-chernarus weapons like the wooden-buttstock VSD or Green M4A1.
🔴🟠🟡🔵 Dynamic Locked Containers & Keys
The ultimate RedPine challenge—Dynamic Locked Containers hidden within the Permanent Gas Zones. High-risk, high-reward.
- 4 Container Key Colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue — found only in top-tier military zones.
- Top-tier loot: rare weapons and unique items exclusive to RedPine.
- Requirements: full NBC suit and working filters.
- The Hunt: Find your keys, brave the gas, and claim what others can’t.
Restarts & Day/Night Cycle
RedPine runs on a 4-hour restart cycle, perfectly synced to the world’s rhythm:
- 3h 15m of daylight – Time to roam, scavenge, and build.
- 45m of night – Short, intense stretches where light and stealth matter.
- Every restart resets into a new full day, keeping time consistent for everyone.
This rhythm ensures a balanced mix of exploration, tension, and survival—no matter when you log in.
Server Wipe Schedule
To keep the world fresh, balanced, and competitive, RedPine wipes approximately every 2 months. Each wipe resets the economy, AI patrols, and base claims—giving both new and returning survivors a fair start.
Regular wipes help maintain stability and encourage exploration, base-building, and player interaction. You’ll always have new stories to chase, new enemies to meet, and new loot to hunt.
Claimable Bases: Ready to Fortify
RedPine features nearly 50 prebuilt medium-sized bases across Chernarus—ready to claim and make your own. Each one is handcrafted to offer balance between defense, storage, and realism.
- Watchtower – Overlook your perimeter or defend from above.
- PA System – Broadcast to would-be invaders or warn nearby travelers.
- Lighting – Built-in illumination keeps your base visible and alive at night.
- 3-Car Garage – Store multiple vehicles safely inside your compound.
- Two Fireplaces – Cook meals, dry off, and stay warm in storms.
- Ample Storage – Hidden corners and interior rooms perfect for stashing gear.
To claim one, just place a gate with a CodeLock and build a flagpole to secure your territory. From there, it’s your fortress—ready for defense, trade, or domination.
The Well-Worn Chernarus Map
A new collectible item: the Well-Worn Chernarus Map. Faded, hand-marked, and weathered by time, it reveals hidden routes and landmarks unseen on any standard map. Survivors who find one gain a subtle advantage—hints to unique points of interest that others may walk right past.
Whether it leads you to forgotten camps, new military installations, or places better left alone, this relic is both a guide and a mystery.
